Job Description:

As a General Worker at Senwes Grainlink, your main duties will include general cleaning to maintain hygiene standards and other tasks as per the silo’s requirements. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the grain storage facilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

General Cleaning:

Clean the yard, bins, containers, silo, building, and bunkers.

Ensure all areas are tidy and hygienic.

Pest Control:

Perform contact spraying for pest control in silo bins, machines, and buildings.

Fumigation Assistance:

Help with bin and storage fumigation to protect the grain.

Bagging and Storage:

Bag, store, and monitor graded screenings to ensure quality.

Loading and Off-loading:

Assist with the loading and off-loading of grain, both bulk and bags.

Maintenance Work:

Support maintenance activities to keep the facilities in good working order.

Requirements:

• Education: Grade 10 (Candidates with a National Senior Certificate will receive preference).
• Skills: Great communication skills and basic knowledge of the grain industry.
• Experience: No prior experience required.
