Job Overview

As the new Site Agent at Servest Security, you will play a key role in ensuring that the security services meet and exceed client expectations. You’ll be leading and managing a team of security officers, making sure all operations run smoothly and according to the highest standards. Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you’ll be at the heart of operational success.

Minimum Requirements to Apply

To be considered for this important role, you must have the following:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• PSIRA Grade A or B registration
• 3–5 years of proven experience in the security industry
• Strong knowledge of the Firearm Act and firearm competency (Business Purposes)
• Experience managing staff and leading teams
• Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A good understanding of security management laws and practices
• Health and Safety knowledge and experience
• A clean criminal record (no pending cases)
• Medically fit to perform duties
• A valid driver’s license and your own reliable transport

Your Main Duties and Responsibilities

In this exciting role, your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Building strong relationships with merchants around Servest fleet services
• Managing allocated areas to meet all contractual and client requirements
• Ensuring every Security Officer on site meets the required standards
• Constantly checking service levels and suggesting improvements through risk assessments
• Supervising and motivating security staff to achieve top performance
• Handling daily operational issues with management
• Communicating daily with regional management regarding operations
• Dealing promptly with HR issues and taking necessary disciplinary actions
• Preparing and submitting monthly reports on time
• Managing the company’s Secunda fleet, including fuel allocation and vehicle servicing
• Monitoring kilometers traveled according to client contracts
• Sending pre-approval requests to the Contract Manager if travel exceeds allocated limits
• Maintaining proper document archiving and filing systems

This role demands strong leadership, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage both people and resources effectively.
