Key Requirements:

To qualify for this exciting role, you’ll need:

Grade 12 certificate
Code C1 License and a valid PDP
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within office services or warehouse operations.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of Granite and ACCPAC systems is essential. Familiarity with Sage Inventory Advisor is a plus.
Delivery and Collection Skills: Must be skilled in managing deliveries and collections efficiently.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Warehouse Assistant Driver/Picker, you’ll have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:

Delivery & Collection: Manage the delivery and collection of goods, ensuring adherence to traffic rules and safety regulations.
Customer Interaction: Engage professionally with customers during deliveries to provide a positive experience.
Stock Management: Handle warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, and labeling stock accurately.
Inventory Oversight: Assist with monthly stock takes, ensuring that all products are correctly matched to supplier invoices. Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Manager.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed before the close of business.
Team Support: Be prepared to perform any warehouse duties in the absence of the Warehouse Assistant, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Deadline Management: Ensure all tasks are completed on time, even if it requires working overtime.
