🛍️ Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

📦 Stock Management

✅ Receiving and unpacking stock efficiently to keep shelves full
✅ Managing stock levels to prevent shortages and losses
✅ Conducting stock counts and handling stock loss action plans
✅ Overseeing stockroom maintenance and authorizing write-offs & returns

💰 Sales Growth & Profitability

✅ Analyzing sales reports and working on strategies to boost sales
✅ Monitoring product performance and providing feedback
✅ Finding creative ways to increase brand awareness and sales
✅ Driving new customer memberships and accounts

🔍 Risk Management & Compliance

✅ Conducting compliance checks and audits to ensure policies are followed
✅ Monitoring admin, store security, and health & safety standards
✅ Ensuring all staff follow proper procedures to minimize losses

🤝 Customer Experience Management

✅ Implementing customer service strategies to keep shoppers happy
✅ Ensuring smooth markdowns, promotions, and pricing updates
✅ Maintaining high standards in-store presentation and cleanliness

👥 Leadership & Staff Development

✅ Leading and motivating your team to achieve store targets
✅ Identifying training and coaching needs to build a strong team
✅ Managing performance, recruiting new staff, and succession planning

📌 Job Requirements – What You Need to Apply

📚 Qualifications:
✔️ Grade 12 (Matric)

🛠 Experience & Skills:

✔️ 3 years of experience as a Store or Assistant Store Manager
✔️ Strong sales & service management background
✔️ Experience with budgeting & financial reporting
✔️ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
✔️ Excellent communication & leadership skills
✔️ Understanding of retail trade, branding, and customer service
