Job Description

Are you a self-driven and results-focused individual? As a Money Market Account Roaming Agent with Shoprite, your job will be all about promoting and selling our Money Market Account (MMA) to customers. Your goal is to grow our customer base by effectively showcasing the benefits and features of our MMA. We are looking for someone who has at least two years of experience in sales within the retail banking sector. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are a must, along with the willingness to travel when necessary. You will also need to be tech-savvy and adaptable to new tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Promote the MMA Product: Your main job is to promote and sell the Money Market Account to potential customers. You will need to explain the features and benefits of the account in a way that makes it appealing and easy to understand.
2. Achieve Sales Targets: Meeting and exceeding sales targets is essential. You will be expected to actively seek out new opportunities and convert potential leads into MMA account holders.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 / Matric: A high school diploma or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience: You should have at least two years of experience in sales, preferably in the retail banking sector, with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Technologically proficient with the ability to use tools like Monday.com CRM.
  • Flexible and willing to travel on short notice, and work weekends if needed.
