What This Job is All About

The General Assistant job is all about supporting the Silo Operator and making sure daily duties are done on time and safely. You’ll be helping to load and offload trucks, take care of cleaning duties, and make sure seed is stored the right way.

This is a hands-on job that requires energy, responsibility, and focus. You’ll work outdoors and indoors and help keep things running smoothly at the silo site. Whether it’s sweeping the floor or helping with seed management, your role is important for the success of the team.

Your Daily Tasks Will Include:

• Loading and offloading seed trucks.
• Grading the seeds when they arrive.
• Helping with safe storage and proper handling of seeds.
• Making sure the work area is clean and tidy – this includes sweeping and general cleaning around the premises.
