Your Role as a Facilities Cleaner

As a Facilities Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that offices, labs, common areas, and meeting rooms are clean and welcoming every day. Here are some of the key tasks you’ll be handling:

Office and Common Area Cleaning: You’ll start your day by cleaning office spaces, labs, meeting rooms, and common areas like kitchens and bathrooms before staff arrives. Ensuring these spaces are spotless is essential for the smooth functioning of daily activities.

Managing Tea Supplies and Cleaning Materials: You will keep an eye on tea, coffee, sugar, and milk supplies in the kitchens and ensure refreshment setups are ready for meetings. You’ll also handle requests for replenishing these supplies.

Upkeep of Cleaning Equipment: Maintaining your cleaning tools is important. You’ll make sure all the cleaning equipment is in good working condition to ensure effective cleaning.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Grade 8 or an equivalent qualification
• 1 to 2 years of experience in office cleaning

Bonus Skills

While not required, the following experience would be a great advantage:

• Previous experience in cleaning within an office or laboratory environment
