🛒 Job Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing

As a Cashier, you’ll be responsible for:

✅ Handling transactions – Scanning items and processing payments efficiently
✅ Operating checkout equipment, including:

Point of Sale (POS) terminal
Debit card terminal
Speedpoint
Veri-cheque
Smartbox
Zip Zap
✅ Processing different payment methods, such as:
Cash
Bank cards
Cheques
Gift vouchers
Pensioner’s cards
✅ Keeping your checkout area neat, safe, and hygienic
✅ Assisting customers with inquiries and providing friendly service
✅ Ensuring all items are correctly priced and labeled

📌 What You Need to Apply (Minimum Requirements)

To qualify for this job, you need:

✔️ Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
