What You’ll Do as a Liquor Store Manager

As a Liquor Store Manager at Spar Tops, you’ll be responsible for:

Overseeing Daily Operations: You’ll ensure smooth opening and closing of the store, manage daily activities, and keep things running like clockwork.
Providing Expert Product Advice: Your knowledge of wines and spirits will help customers make the best choices.
Building Relationships: Strong connections with customers and suppliers are key to growing the business.
Training and Developing Staff: Lead and motivate your team to deliver top-notch customer service.
Managing Inventory: Keep our shelves stocked and our displays eye-catching with effective merchandising strategies.
Processing Orders: Handle orders efficiently to ensure customers always find what they need.
Recommending Improvements: Your insights will help us enhance customer service and expand our product offerings.

What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should bring:

Deep Knowledge of Spirits and Wines: You should know your way around a liquor store and have a passion for the products.
Strong Leadership Skills: You’ll need to lead by example and inspire your team to perform at their best.
Exceptional Communication: Fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential for engaging with our diverse customer base.
Customer-Centric Approach: A genuine desire to go above and beyond for our customers.
Retail Experience: At least 3 years of retail experience, with 2 years specifically in liquor store management.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in computer systems to manage inventory, sales, and reports.
