What This Role Is All About

As a Learnership Facilitator, your main job is to train and support learners in security-related programmes. These programmes are aligned with official South African standards such as QCTO, SASSETA, and PSIRA.

You will not only teach but also assess learners, manage records, and make sure everything meets the required standards. This role requires both practical training skills and strong admin ability.

  • Tracking certification expiry dates and helping with renewals
  • Communicating with supervisors, clients, and internal teams
  • Improving training materials and delivery methods

This role requires someone who can handle multiple responsibilities while maintaining high standards.

  • Experience with learnerships and workplace training programmes
  • Experience managing POEs (Portfolios of Evidence)
  • Good understanding of PSIRA, SASSETA, SAQA, and QCTO frameworks

This experience is very important because the job involves working with regulated training standards.

Skills That Will Help You Succeed

  • Coaching and mentoring ability
  • Professional attitude and teamwork skills

This job requires someone who is confident, organized, and committed to helping others succeed.

Work Environment and Expectations

You will be working in a structured and professional environment where training quality is very important. You will deal with learners, supervisors, and sometimes clients, so professionalism is key.

You must be able to handle pressure, meet deadlines, and ensure that all training activities meet official standards. Accuracy and responsibility are very important in this role.

Why This Job Is Worth It

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow in the training and security field. It allows you to use your experience while also building new skills in leadership, compliance, and programme management.

If you perform well, this role can open doors to higher positions in training management or compliance roles in the future.
