As a Stock Controller at Cartrack, your main goal will be to manage the stock in the branch—from ordering and dispatching to scanning and filing. You’ll also provide support to the branch manager with important admin tasks like client queries, scheduling, and reports.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Stock Control Duties (Major Focus):

• Receive and process stock orders placed by technicians
• Place stock orders from Head Office (including units, tools, and consumables)
• Accurately scan and pack all stock
• Ensure each technician’s stock is correctly listed and labeled in StockMover
• Keep proper records by filing signed StockMover documents
• Investigate and solve stock delivery issues
• Manage scanning of incoming and outgoing stock
• Request and follow up on changes to stock status through the Systems Department
• Dispatch stock as needed for client installations
• Help with month-end stock takes and make sure stock levels match records

Administrative Support Duties (Secondary Focus):

You’ll help the Senior Branch Manager with day-to-day tasks such as:

• Updating CAMS
• Creating and sending reports
• Scheduling tasks and activities
• Responding to client queries with professionalism and urgency

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Experience in an administrative role
• Previous exposure to stock control systems or procedures
