🎯 Key Responsibilities
🔍 Surveillance Monitoring
- Closely monitor gaming floor operations to ensure all procedures align with gaming regulations and internal policies.
- Conduct punter scans and prepare target reports on all gaming areas as per scheduled requirements.
- Perform system checks, respond to alarm conditions, and identify faulty surveillance equipment.
- Issue and inspect gaming-related tools such as playing cards and gaming equipment following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Observe, record, and act on significant events including jackpot verifications, table activities, and security alerts.
- Monitor non-gaming areas (like entrances, cash handling zones, and restricted areas) for any suspicious or unsafe behavior.
- Review and analyze video footage and other related reports to investigate irregularities or incidents.
- Proactively oversee high-risk areas and assist during emergency responses as per company protocol.
📝 Reporting & Administration
- Document and escalate findings of reviews and investigations to relevant departments.
- Record and preserve video evidence and written reports for further internal processes.
- Prioritize and report incidents based on the severity and urgency of the situation.
- Capture accurate data into the Electronic Occurrence Book (EOB).
- Compile comprehensive reports for management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
🎓 Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification in Gaming Operations.
Experience:
- Previous experience in gaming surveillance, casino operations, or security monitoring will be advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to remain alert for long periods.
