What Is the Sage Pre-Sales Internship All About?

This isn’t your typical internship. At Sage, interns play a key role in helping customers solve real-world business challenges using cutting-edge software.

As a Pre-Sales Intern, you’ll be working with experienced teams from sales, product development, and engineering. Your job? Understand the customer’s problems and show them how Sage software can solve those problems.

You’ll also deliver product demonstrations, build Proof of Concepts (POCs), and help clients imagine how Sage’s technology fits into their business. Think of it as being the bridge between cool tech and the people who need it most.

What You’ll Be Doing

Here are some of the exciting things you’ll take part in:

• Work side-by-side with account executives to understand what clients need
• Build and present product demos and POCs tailored to customer problems
• Study how businesses work and match their needs to the right software solutions
• Respond to RFPs and help with important documents during the sales process
• Act as the link between the sales and tech teams
• Keep up with new tech trends, updates in Sage products, and what competitors are offering
• Help create tools that make future product demos easier and better
• Work in fast-paced team environments where collaboration is key
• Clearly explain the benefits of Sage Intacct and Cloud Native platforms to different audiences

Who Should Apply?

This internship is ideal for young graduates who are passionate about technology and business. You don’t need years of experience—just the right attitude, education, and eagerness to learn.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Basic understanding of software solutions like SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise applications
• Must be able to travel for business visits
• Strong communication, both verbal and written
