Tekkie Town is Hiring Sales Supervisors

As a Sales Supervisor at Tekkie Town, you will play a key role in driving the success of the store. You’ll be responsible for boosting sales, controlling stock losses, keeping the store’s administration in order, and leading a motivated, high-performing team.

What You’ll Do as a Sales Supervisor

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Making sure brand standards are met so customers get the service and quality they expect.
  • Coordinating daily operations like sales, orders, and payments.
  • Keeping the store clean, organised, and ready for customers.
  • Motivating and supervising the team to make sure daily sales targets are achieved.
  • Coaching and supporting new and existing Sales Associates to help them perform their best.
  • Managing the store when the Store Manager is not available.
  • Ensuring all company policies and rules are followed.
  • Keeping stock losses under control and admin work up to standard.
  • Staying updated on new stock arrivals and trends.
  • Handling the opening and closing of the store.
  • Leading by example and being a role model for the team.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate (extra qualifications in retail or business are a plus).
  • Have at least 3 years of retail experience as a Senior Sales Assistant or similar.
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Be confident, organised, and have strong leadership skills.
  • Have a high energy level and be driven to achieve results.
  • Be comfortable working with computers and numbers.
  • Have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with people.
  • Be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
