An exciting and challenging opportunity has opened up for a Super Store Manager at Tekkie Town, Festival Mall. This role requires a dynamic individual to lead a team of staff and oversee the store’s operations to maximize profitability. The ideal candidate should be based in Kempton Park or surrounding areas and will report directly to the Area Sales Manager of Tekkie Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Turnover & Budgets: Ensure targets are met.
Administration: Align with Standard Operating Procedures.
Stock Control: Minimize stock losses.
Promotions & Merchandising: Implement promotions and maintain store standards.
Team Leadership: Coach and develop the store team.
Customer Service: Maintain high standards and build rapport with customers.
Store Operations: Responsible for opening and closing the store.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Grade 12 / Matric
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Experience: Minimum 4 years with a major retail chain, including at least 2 years in a Senior Management role.
Languages: Fluent in English and another official South African language.
Excellent customer service and rapport-building skills.
Logical thinking and analytical ability.
High energy levels and performance-driven.
Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.
Flexibility and positive attitude.
Team player with leadership capabilities.
Own transport and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.
