As a Food & Beverage Waiter at The Capital Hotels, you’ll be responsible for serving food and drinks in the restaurant, room service, and function areas. Your goal is to provide guests with fast, friendly, and efficient service, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience.
✅ Taking guest orders and serving food & drinks with a smile
✅ Ensuring all restaurant and dining areas are clean and well-maintained
✅ Assisting with room service deliveries when needed
✅ Managing stock levels and reporting shortages
✅ Providing excellent customer service and handling guest queries professionally
✅ Working with the team to ensure smooth restaurant and event operations
✅ Maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude at all times

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
📍 Education: Matric (Grade 12)
📍 Experience: Previous restaurant experience is essential

🔹 Team player – work well with others to create a great dining experience
🔹 Excellent communication skills – engage professionally with guests & staff
🔹 Honest and trustworthy – maintain high ethical standards
🔹 Attention to detail – ensure orders are accurate and service is top-notch
🔹 Presentable and well-spoken – professional appearance and manner
🔹 Proactive approach – take initiative to improve service
🔹 Interpersonal skills – build good relationships with guests & colleagues
🔹 Ability to work shifts – including weekends and holidays
📌 Important: If you live outside the city where the hotel is located, relocation costs will be at your own expense.
