During this programme, selected candidates are placed in different departments where they gain real work experience, job-specific training, mentorship, and leadership development.

Fields and Departments You Can Apply For

  • BSc or BEng in Mechanical Engineering

Minimum Requirements You Must Meet

Before applying, make sure you carefully check if you qualify for the programme. Only candidates who meet the basic requirements will be considered.

You must:

  • Have a 65% or higher academic average
  • Have a relevant Bachelor’s degree or BTech
  • Be a citizen in the country of hire (South Africa)
  • Be a recent graduate from a South African tertiary institution
  • Have not worked full-time for more than 1 year in your field of study
  • Be highly motivated, ambitious, and eager to build a career at Tiger Brands
  • Be able to work well in a team and show leadership potential
  • Be willing to relocate and move to different locations
  • Have basic leadership and innovative thinking
  • Be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Have a valid driver’s license
