What This Job Is All About

As a Warehouse Controller, your main job is to make sure goods are handled correctly inside the warehouse. This includes picking, packing, checking, and managing stock.

You will also help make sure that orders are correct before they are sent out and that new stock is stored properly when it arrives.

This role is ideal if you enjoy physical work and like staying active throughout the day.

Your Daily Duties and Responsibilities

Picking, Packing, and Checking Orders

Pick and pack orders based on invoices or pick slips
Check items using barcode, SKU, and product codes
Make sure the correct quantity and items are packed

Stock Handling and Control

Load and unload stock from trucks or containers
Store stock in the correct place in the warehouse
Re-label or repackage items when needed
Perform stock counts (cycle counts and full counts)

Warehouse Operations

Use warehouse scanners (WMS system) to track stock
Prepare orders with correct labels and documents
Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted

Physical Tasks

Wrap pallets and prepare them for delivery
Work at heights when needed (with safety equipment)
Assist with general warehouse duties

Safety, Cleanliness, and Security

Keep the warehouse clean at all times
Follow safety rules and report any risks or accidents
Follow company security and IT policies
