Role Overview

The Stockroom Associate is responsible for the smooth running of the stockroom and supporting sales operations by ensuring stock is well-managed and available when needed. This role contributes directly to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the overall performance of the store.

Key Responsibilities

As a Stockroom Associate at Totalsports, your main duties will include:

• Managing the receiving and dispatching of stock.
• Processing stock within specified time frames.
• Facilitating efficient rotation of stock from the stockroom to the sales floor.
• Ensuring the stockroom and store maintain world-class neatness and housekeeping standards.
• Providing feedback to management regarding stock issues, movements, or shortages.
• Managing shrinkage according to company standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Experience: Retail experience is essential; 2 years stockroom experience is advantageous.
• Additional Advantage: A background in hospitality is beneficial.
