Position Purpose:

The primary goal of the Graduate Internship Programme is to provide graduates with the opportunity to acquire practical, hands-on experience under the mentorship of professionally qualified individuals. This comprehensive, structured 24-month training programme is meticulously designed to equip interns with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in their respective fields. The programme aims to strategically position graduates in roles within Transnet NPA that align with their academic backgrounds, career aspirations, and the overarching business needs of the organization.

Position Outputs:

• Structured Training Programme: Interns will engage in a carefully crafted training programme that offers in-depth exposure to various aspects of their field of study.
• Performance Reviews and Assessments: Regular performance reviews and assessments will be conducted to ensure interns are meeting developmental milestones and acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will perform duties outlined in their development programme and may also undertake tasks reasonably assigned by Transnet National Ports Authority, ensuring a well-rounded and comprehensive training experience.

Qualifications and Experience:

Human Resources Internship:
Qualification: National Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a related field. This internship offers exposure to various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
