📋 Job Description – What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, boosting sales, and leading a high-performing team. Your responsibilities will include:

✔️ Supporting the Store Manager in daily store operations.
✔️ Driving sales and meeting targets (daily, weekly, and monthly).
✔️ Managing stock losses and ensuring shrinkage is within company targets.
✔️ Maintaining the store’s visual appeal to meet Truworths’ high fashion standards.
✔️ Controlling expenses and ensuring the store operates efficiently.
✔️ Delivering top-tier customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
✔️ Recruiting, training, and managing staff performance to maintain a motivated team.
✔️ Ensuring compliance with company policies and retail best practices.
✔️ Conducting stock checks, hanger counts, and regular spot checks at service desks and fitting rooms.

📌 Minimum Requirements – Who Can Apply?

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

✅ Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
✅ 3-5 years of experience in managing a fashion retail store
✅ Proven track record in retail management
