Job Overview

As a Sales Consultant, you’ll be cross-trained to work both on the sales floor and the service desk. This means you’ll be assisting customers directly while also handling important transactions and store operations.

Your role will include:

  • Helping customers find merchandise and offering styling advice.
  • Merchandising the store according to Truworths’ standards.
  • Handling payments and purchases on the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
  • Opening new customer accounts and processing applications.
  • Maintaining stock control and preventing losses.
  • Building strong customer relationships through excellent service.

This is a hands-on position that requires energy, commitment, and a love for fashion.


Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you need the following:

  • Previous experience on the sales floor and/or cash desk.
  • Product knowledge and a passion for fashion.
  • Good selling skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Matric/Grade 12 qualification is preferred.
