Job Overview

Tsebo Cleaning and Hygiene Solutions is looking for temporary or casual cleaners to work within the commercial industry in Randburg. The role requires individuals who can handle housekeeping duties efficiently, maintain cleanliness, and follow strict hygiene standards at all times. This is a shift-based position, so applicants must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Tsebo Cleaner, your daily tasks will include:

• Cleaning toilets, offices, equipment, and company property thoroughly.
• Making sure cleaning materials and equipment are used correctly and safely.
• Keeping the reception area and offices clean daily.
• Emptying dustbins regularly and disposing of waste properly.
• Collecting paper waste for recycling as part of Tsebo’s eco-friendly practices.
• Checking and cleaning bathrooms at least twice per day.
• Dusting office furniture and vacuuming carpets at least twice a week.
• Cleaning interior windows on a rotational basis (at least quarterly).
• Storing cleaning tools neatly in designated cupboards after each shift.
• Assisting in preparing the boardroom for meetings when required.
• Following Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) rules and ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Performing additional cleaning-related duties when requested.

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

• Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and cleaning practices.
• Understanding of facility layouts and cleaning product usage.
• Ability to operate different cleaning tools and equipment safely.
• Basic reading and writing skills for following instructions.
• Understanding of workplace policies and procedures.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must have at least:

• A Grade 11 certificate with proven cleaning experience.
