Duties and Responsibilities

As a Refreshment Attendant, your main duties will include:

Cleaning & Office Maintenance

• Keep the office and surrounding areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Maintain clean and stocked ablution facilities and common areas.
• Ensure kitchen areas are spotless and organized.
• Keep meeting rooms clean and ready for use, with supplies like flip chart paper and markers available.
• Maintain cleanliness of tea stations and ensure everything is in order.

Refreshment Service

• Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments as required.
• Ensure cups and crockery are always clean and in good condition.
• Report any breakages or losses immediately.
• Make sure refreshments are served on time and as scheduled.

Stock Control

• Monitor stock levels of consumables and cleaning items.
• Inform management when items are running low to avoid shortages.

Compliance & Support

• Follow company policies and safety standards, including the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Support other Tsebo staff members when needed.
• Assist with any additional tasks as required by management.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required

To qualify for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:

• Grade 10 or higher educational qualification.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in cleaning and beverage service.
• Practical knowledge of cleaning processes and how to handle appliances safely.
