Twizza invites suitably qualified applicants to apply for their Flavour Mixer Operator Vacancies (Multiple Posts). The closing date for applications is 16 January 2026. This is a great opportunity for hardworking individuals who enjoy working in manufacturing, following clear processes, and being part of a fast-growing beverage company that serves millions of customers across South Africa and nearby countries.
Twizza is one of the fastest-growing affordable beverage brands in the country. The company produces quality drinks from its modern factories in Queenstown, Middelburg (Mpumalanga), and Cape Town. Twizza believes in teamwork, respect, honesty, and always improving how things are done. If you like working in an active environment where every day brings new challenges and learning, this job could be the right move for you.
The Flavour Mixer Operator role is based in Bellville South, Cape Town, and focuses on preparing syrups that are used in drink production. This position plays a big role in making sure the final product tastes good, looks right, and meets food safety standards.
Working at Twizza means being part of a company that values people and growth. The business continues to expand into new markets, which creates more job opportunities and long-term stability. You will work in a professional factory environment where safety, quality, and teamwork matter every day.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, likes following instructions, and wants to build skills in manufacturing and food production. It also offers good benefits and real chances to grow inside the company.
Your main duty is to mix the correct syrups according to the production plan. This means following recipes carefully and measuring ingredients accurately. Small mistakes can affect the taste and quality of the drinks, so attention to detail is very important.
You will work closely with the production team to make sure the right syrups are ready on time so that the factory keeps running smoothly.
After mixing the syrup, you will check the smell and appearance to make sure everything meets the quality standard. If something looks or smells wrong, you must report it immediately. This helps protect customers and keeps the brand strong.
You will complete and submit documents related to production, cleaning, traceability, and stock control. These records help the company track what was produced, when it was made, and how it was handled.
Good paperwork keeps the factory organised and compliant with food safety rules.
You will clean tanks and equipment using special cleaning systems. This keeps the machinery safe, hygienic, and ready for the next production run. Clean equipment helps prevent contamination and protects product quality.
You will also perform simple maintenance tasks like cleaning and lubricating machines according to schedule. This helps prevent breakdowns and keeps machines working properly.
You will operate flavour room machinery safely and correctly. Safety rules must always be followed to protect yourself and others.
In some cases, you will use a forklift to move materials. Having a forklift license is an advantage, but training may be provided.
You will count stock every day to make sure materials match records. This helps avoid shortages or waste.
You may help coach and train new employees. Sharing knowledge keeps the team strong and improves overall performance.
When the Team Leader is not available, you may attend meetings, give updates to management, and help lead the team.
Some tasks require you to work alone, while others need teamwork. Being flexible and responsible is important.
You are encouraged to develop your own skills and improve your knowledge. Learning new processes can help you grow your career.
You will carry out basic maintenance tasks under autonomous maintenance levels. This helps keep machines reliable.
When a machine breaks down, you will help identify the problem and report it quickly. You may also assist with root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
Quick action reduces production delays and keeps the factory productive.
You must follow 5S housekeeping rules to keep the work area clean and organised. A clean factory is safer and more efficient.
You must follow strict food safety rules and report any risks or problems. This protects customers and keeps the company compliant.
Materials must be used in the correct order to avoid waste and expired products.
You must follow all safety rules to protect yourself and others.
You will complete required system documents to prove compliance with standards.
These benefits help provide security and savings for the future.
This job teaches valuable skills such as machine operation, safety compliance, teamwork, planning, and quality control. These skills are useful in many manufacturing and technical careers. Working for a growing company also increases your chances of promotion and long-term job stability.
You gain real experience in food production, which strengthens your CV and makes you more employable in the future.
If you are motivated, reliable, and ready to work in a busy manufacturing environment, this opportunity could be your next step forward. Make sure your CV is updated and apply before 16 January 2026.
A strong work ethic and willingness to learn can take you far. Take action today and move closer to a better career path with Twizza.
