Job Overview:

As part of Twizza’s Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for managing checker operators to ensure trailers are loaded efficiently and correctly the first time. You will also verify loads and complete all necessary documentation. Key Responsibilities:

Load Planning & Trip Scheduling: Organize and plan the loading of trailers to ensure efficiency and accuracy in shipments.

Shipment Checks: Inspect both outgoing and incoming shipments to make sure everything is accounted for and in order.

Administrative Duties: Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of shipments and stock.

Stock Control: Monitor and manage inventory to ensure everything is in place and properly accounted for.

Optimize Team Performance: Support and lead the warehouse team to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.

Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure the workplace is safe, healthy, and free of risks by adhering to company policies and health regulations.

What You Need to Apply:

Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and work effectively within a team.

Work Under Pressure: You must be able to manage your time well and work efficiently under pressure.

Self-Management: You should have good practices when it comes to managing your tasks and responsibilities.

Numeracy Skills: Strong numerical abilities are essential for accurate inventory and stock control.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: A Grade 12 qualification is non-negotiable.
• Tertiary Qualification: A qualification in Warehousing or Supply Chain will be an advantage.
• Driver’s License: You must have a valid Code 08 (B) driver’s license.
• MS Office Proficiency: You need to be proficient in MS Office to handle administrative tasks effectively.
• Work Under Pressure: Experience working in a fast-paced environment where pressure and change are common will be beneficial.
