📌 What Will You Be Doing? (Key Responsibilities)

As a General Worker (Wine Merchandiser), you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that keep the store running smoothly and ensure customers have a great shopping experience. Your main duties will include:

✅ Housekeeping & Cleaning – Keep the store neat, tidy, and well-organized at all times.
✅ Handling Stock – Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing stock correctly.
✅ Customer Service – Help customers find the right products and provide excellent service.
✅ Merchandising – Ensure wine and liquor products are well-displayed and attractively arranged.
✅ Stock Taking – Participate in regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
✅ Security Awareness – Be vigilant and follow security procedures to prevent losses.
✅ Adhoc Duties – Assist with various general store tasks as needed.

🎯 What You Need to Apply (Job Requirements & Skills)

To qualify for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

✔️ Education: Matric (Grade 12) is required.
✔️ Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role (Retail, Wine Merchandising, or General Store Work preferred).
✔️ Customer Service Skills: Must be friendly, approachable, and willing to assist customers.
✔️ Merchandising Knowledge: Experience in setting up displays and arranging stock attractively.
✔️ Retail & Wholesale Knowledge: Understanding of liquor store operations is a plus.
✔️ Attention to Detail: Must be able to organize stock correctly and follow procedures accurately.
✔️ Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle challenges and find quick solutions.
✔️ Trustworthy & Reliable: Honest and responsible individuals preferred.
✔️ Good Communication Skills: Able to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
✔️ Flexibility: Must be willing to perform multiple tasks as required.
