About the Learnership: Grain Grader

This is a structured training opportunity where you’ll learn how to grade grain, manage logistics, and ensure that everything runs smoothly during grain deliveries and dispatches. It’s an entry-level role but with high responsibility—perfect for someone who wants to build a long-term career in agriculture.


What You’ll Be Doing:

This role combines physical work, technical know-how, and admin tasks. You’ll get trained to grade grain correctly, handle disputes, and support the logistical side of grain transport.

🔧 Duties Include:

  • Grade grain accurately based on industry regulations
  • Collect and process grain samples
  • Handle incoming and outgoing grain logistics
  • Do related admin work and data entry
  • Solve disputes between clients, suppliers, and logistics teams
  • Ensure all grading courses are passed during training

Minimum Requirements:

You don’t need years of experience—but you do need the right attitude, a bit of background knowledge, and the willingness to learn.

You Must Have:

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 qualification
  • A clear criminal record
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be precise, accurate, and organized
  • Willingness to complete all in-service training and courses
  • Ability to work well with others and take responsibility
