What Is the Woodlands Dairy Learnership About?

This Learnership Programme combines theoretical training and practical work experience to help young people develop real skills in the dairy and food production industry.

What Will You Learn?

During the 12-month programme, learners will be trained in key areas such as:

  • Milk Reception – Understanding how milk is delivered, tested, and received at the plant
  • Nature of Milk – Learning what milk is made of and how it behaves under different conditions
  • Food Safety – Gaining critical knowledge about hygiene and how to prevent contamination
  • Housekeeping – Learning the importance of keeping production areas clean and safe
  • CIP & COP – Understanding Clean-In-Place and Clean-Out-of-Place methods for equipment cleaning
  • Other Modules – Covering various aspects of dairy production and workplace readiness

  • Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate
