Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Driving sales and managing stock to ensure the department achieves top performance and profitability.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive shopping experience that keeps customers coming back.
  • Managing shrinkage by maintaining tight control over stock and implementing in-store processes effectively.
  • Analyzing reports and business trends to identify improvement opportunities and implementing effective action plans.
  • Overseeing equipment and stock movement, ensuring smooth operations across all areas of the store.
  • Supporting new product launches and in-store promotions, making sure they are executed on time and within budget.
  • Leading, developing, and motivating your team, creating a work environment where staff can perform at their best.

  • A valid Matric Certificate or NQF level 3 equivalent.
  • Numeracy and Literacy Skills.
  • An IPM score of 3 or 4.
  • Leadership experience will be an added advantage.
  • The position must align with your career aspirations.
  • A motivation letter from your Store Manager, with input from your direct line manager, is required.

Additional Criteria (Non-Negotiable)

Please read these conditions carefully before applying, as only candidates who meet all requirements will be considered:

  • Line managers must sign off all applications before submission, confirming that all criteria have been met.
  • Applicants must not be enrolled in any other NQF Level Program.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Foods environment in a leadership role is mandatory.
  • Strong merchant skills are essential.
  • Preference will be given to applicants currently in leadership roles.
  • A valid Matric certificate must be attached to your application.
  • Only candidates with an IPM rating of 3 or 4 should apply.

Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in your application not being considered.
