What Is the YES Youth Opportunity?

The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a nationwide initiative aimed at tackling youth unemployment. Who Can Apply?

To join this programme at Sterns, you must:

• Be between 18 and 28 years old
• Have at least Grade 10 (Matric is a bonus)
• Be unemployed and not studying full-time during the contract period (April 2025 to March 2026)
• Be available for a 12-month fixed-term full-time job
• Not have worked permanently for the same employer for more than 1 year
• Not have taken part in the YES Programme before
• Be able to cover your own transport and accommodation costs (if needed)
