Minimum Requirements to Apply

For Cleaner Positions:

• Grade 10 or equivalent (SAQA recognized)
• Basic reading, writing, and counting skills
• Know how to use cleaning tools and chemicals
• Physically healthy, punctual, and dependable
• Friendly attitude and able to work well with others
• Understand Batho Pele principles (serving people with respect)

For General Worker Positions:

• ABET Level 2 or similar qualification
• Able to read and write
• Some experience or understanding of gardening or maintenance
• Strong enough for physical tasks like lifting or digging
• Willing to work in a team and follow instructions

What Will You Be Doing?

Cleaner Job Duties:

• Clean and sanitize offices, toilets, boardrooms, and kitchens
• Empty bins and keep water and tea stations stocked
• Wash walls, clean windows, and vacuum carpets
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways and shared spaces
• Handle cleaning equipment properly and safely

General Worker Job Duties:

• Assist in repair and maintenance of buildings or garden areas
• Move and carry furniture or materials when needed
• Use gardening tools and machinery like lawnmowers
• Clean outdoor spaces, remove trash, and help with deliveries
• Make sure the work environment is safe and tidy
