About the SANParks General Worker Position

The General Worker plays an important role in making sure visitors enjoy a clean, safe, and pleasant environment during their stay at Agulhas National Park.

The successful applicant will report directly to the Duty Manager and work closely with other staff members to maintain SANParks’ high standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric), NCV Level 4, or an equivalent qualification.
• Between 1 and 2 years of experience as a General Worker in a tourism or hospitality environment.
• A valid driver’s licence will be an added advantage.
• Chainsaw and brush cutter competency will be an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.
• Basic customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift, bend, walk, and stand for long periods.
• Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and different shifts.
• First Aid knowledge will be an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
