As a P27 Shop Assistant/Cashier, your main job is to help customers have a great shopping experience. That means keeping the store tidy, helping customers with their questions, making sure products are on the shelves, and operating the till (cash register) correctly.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Here are some of your day-to-day tasks:

1. Helping Customers

2. Working at the Till (Cash Register)

Handle payments using cash, card, or store credit
Process refunds and lay-by payments
Make sure the till balances at the end of your shift

3. Keeping the Store Looking Good

Put new stock on shelves
Make sure products are priced and tagged properly
Clean your work area and help with promotional displays

4. Preventing Theft or Loss

Keep an eye on suspicious behavior
