This full-time role requires a diligent individual to ensure efficient car park operations. The successful candidate will report directly to the Supervisor, Car Park Operations, and will support the day-to-day management of parking facilities, customer service delivery, and compliance monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

As a Car Park Attendant, you will be responsible for several critical operational tasks, including:

Facility Monitoring: Conduct routine patrols to monitor the cleanliness and functionality of car park equipment.
Compliance Reporting: Identify and report non-compliance issues and follow up on remedial actions.
Emergency Coordination: Notify relevant personnel in case of emergencies to ensure quick resolution.
Shift Handover: Ensure seamless handover to the next shift to avoid operational disruptions.
Customer Support: Investigate customer queries and escalate as needed. Assist customers with change when required.
Cash Handling: Replenish change at pay stations and manage daily float reconciliation.
Relationship Building: Maintain strong internal and external relationships to achieve operational goals. Implement corrective actions where required.
SOP Adherence: Comply with statutory regulations, operational standards, and company policies at all times.

Technical Skills and Experience Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following:

Minimum Qualifications:

Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate)

Experience:

At least 1 year of operational experience in a car park environment.

Additional Requirements:

Valid Code B motor vehicle license

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
