Job Purpose

Your role as a Permanent Part-Timer will involve assisting the store management in maintaining the daily operations of the store, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring that all store policies are followed. You’ll be a key player in creating a welcoming and vibrant shopping environment for every customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a part of our team, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering the highest level of customer service to every shopper.
Handling sales transactions efficiently, whether they involve cash, credit, or checks.
Helping with the ticketing of products and verifying inventory against paperwork.
Assisting in moving products from the stockroom to the sales floor as needed.
Contributing to merchandise displays and following management’s guidelines for showcasing products.
Learning and mastering the point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring that all transactions are handled with integrity.
Using selling techniques like upselling and providing detailed product information to enhance the shopping experience.
Greeting customers warmly and helping them find exactly what they’re looking for. On busy days, you might be stationed at the front door as a greeter.
Keeping the store tidy and maintaining housekeeping standards.
Protecting company assets by adhering to security and safety protocols.
