Job Purpose

As a Permanent Part-Timer at Adidas, you’ll assist management in keeping the store running smoothly while delivering top-notch service to every customer. You’ll be an essential part of the team, maintaining store policies and assisting customers in finding the perfect Adidas products.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, your main tasks will include:

Delivering Excellent Service: Greeting customers, helping them find products, and ensuring they have a great shopping experience.
Handling Sales Transactions: Completing regular sales, including cash, credit, and other forms of payment as needed.
Inventory Assistance: Assisting with product flow from the stockroom to the sales floor, as well as handling ticketing and inventory paperwork.
Store Displays: Helping to set up and organize merchandise displays according to management’s plans.
Using Sales Techniques: Using skills like add-on sales and product knowledge to meet store goals and increase customer satisfaction.
Maintaining Housekeeping Standards: Ensuring the store is clean, organized, and presentable.
Safeguarding Company Assets: Helping protect store inventory and assets.

Skills and Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Passion for Retail and Customer Service: Genuine excitement to help customers and make them feel valued.
Great Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and warmly.
Flexibility: Available to work during the week, evenings, and weekends.
Self-Motivation: Confidence to take initiative and handle tasks proactively.

Education and Experience

Matric Certificate or Equivalent: Minimum educational requirement.
0-1 Years of Retail Experience: Experience in fashion retail is a bonus, but not necessary.
