Job Overview: What You’ll Be Doing

As a General Worker at AFGRI, your job will be to help keep the workplace clean and assist with daily tasks as needed. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting with stock movement, and helping wherever necessary to ensure smooth operations.

This is an entry-level role, meaning no prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn!

Who Can Apply? (Minimum Requirements)

✅ Education: Grade 10 (Matric not required)
✅ Experience: No prior experience needed, but basic math and communication skills will be an advantage
✅ Physical Ability: Must be fit and able to do physical tasks like lifting, cleaning, and moving items
✅ Extra Advantage: A valid driver’s license (not required but a plus)

Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

🧹 Keeping the workplace clean – Ensure the yard, office, and restrooms are neat and tidy
🗑️ Handling waste removal – Collect and dispose of garbage daily
🪟 Cleaning windows and surfaces – Regularly wash down windows and remove dust
🌱 Maintaining the garden – Water plants and trim shrubs to keep the environment fresh
📦 Helping with stock – Pick, pack, load, and offload items when needed
🛒 Assisting with stock-taking – Help count and organize inventory when required
🚛 Helping with deliveries – If you have a license, you may be asked to assist with deliveries
👷 Supporting management – Assist in any other general duties as requested
