AgriSETA Skills Planning & Research Internships 2025/2027 (X5 Posts)

AgriSETA is calling for motivated and qualified young South Africans to apply for their Skills Planning and Research Internship Programme (X5 Posts). This is a great chance for those who want to learn real workplace skills and start building a strong career. Applications close on Wednesday, 03 December 2025, so if you are interested, make sure to send in your application before the deadline.

Discover an Opportunity that Can Shape Your Career

Many young people struggle to enter the world of work because they lack real experience. AgriSETA is offering something different: a 24-month internship designed to teach workplace skills that you can use throughout your career. Over two years, successful applicants will work alongside experienced staff at AgriSETA’s Head Office in Pretoria, contributing to important national projects that help improve skills development in the agricultural sector.

This programme is ideal for anyone who wants hands-on experience in office administration, data management, reporting systems, SETA processes, and research. Instead of only learning theory, you get exposed to real projects, real reporting systems, and real sector challenges. This means by the end of the internship, you will have gained valuable knowledge that can help you stand out when applying for future jobs.

About AgriSETA

AgriSETA is one of South Africa’s official Sector Education and Training Authorities. Their purpose is to help develop skills in the agricultural industry by providing structured learning opportunities, workplace training, research support, and stakeholder engagement. They assist in shaping how the agricultural industry grows by supporting training programmes, identifying skills shortages, and ensuring that the sector meets national skills development goals.

The Skills Planning and Research Division is a major part of this. They collect and manage information that helps government and industry leaders make informed decisions. Their work includes analysing learner information, preparing formal reports, and managing systems that track training progress across the country. By joining this division, interns become part of a team that supports national learning and development efforts.
