What the Job Is All About

As a Cylinder Truck Driver, your main job will be to deliver and collect gas cylinders to and from customer sites. You’ll be responsible for making sure everything is done safely and professionally. Here’s what you’ll be doing every day:

• Doing full vehicle checks before and after each trip
• Loading and offloading cylinders with care
• Making sure each delivery is safe, on time, and done right
• Keeping your truck and workspace clean and organized
• Always following safety and SHERQ rules

This isn’t just a simple driving job. You’ll be trusted to transport dangerous goods safely, so the company needs someone who is serious, responsible, and professional.

What You Need to Apply

• Grade 12 certificate (Matric)
• A valid EC (Code 14) Driver’s License with PrDP
• A valid Forklift Licence
• A valid Dangerous Goods Certificate
• At least 5 years of experience in heavy-duty truck driving
• Experience transporting dangerous goods safely
• Must have your own reliable transport
• Must be medically fit to handle physical tasks
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
• Must be able to write simple reports and fill out delivery paperwork
• Able to speak and write well in English
