As a Driver for Ampath, your job is more than just delivering. You will be trusted to transport important medical specimens, reports, and packages from one place to another — safely and on time. This includes trips to and from hospitals, doctors’ rooms, factories, and other client locations.

What You’ll Be Doing

Here’s what your main tasks will look like each day:

Drive to and from hospitals, labs, clinics, and doctor’s offices to pick up or deliver samples, reports, or packages
Keep good communication and be friendly with all clients and partners
Take care of the company vehicle you’re using — make sure it’s safe, clean, and ready for the road
Follow all road rules and safety regulations to ensure your deliveries are secure
Represent Ampath in a professional way and help build a strong, positive image for the company

What You Need to Qualify

This position doesn’t ask for a university degree. Here’s what they’re looking for:

✅ Minimum Education: Grade 10 (no Matric needed)
✅ Licences:

Code A (for motorcycles)
Code EB (for light motor vehicles) – very important
✅ Experience:
Must have some driving experience
Must understand how to care for a vehicle (basic maintenance)
Must know South African traffic rules and how to follow them
