What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Here are the main things you’ll take care of as a receptionist:

What You Need to Get This Job

You don’t need a medical degree, but you do need some experience and qualifications:

Finished Matric (Grade 12 or NQF Level 4)
A certificate or higher qualification in Office Admin, Healthcare, or similar (NQF Level 5)
1–2 years working in a clinic or hospital is a big plus
Know how medical aid billing works
Good computer skills (especially Word, Outlook, Excel)
Speak and write clearly in English
Friendly, calm, and professional — especially with patients who are scared or sick
