Job Overview

As a Messenger/Cleaner, you’ll be responsible for:

Lab Cleaning: Ensuring the lab is always clean and well-maintained.
Delivering Reports and Collecting Specimens: Picking up already collected samples and delivering reports to hospital wards and doctors’ rooms.
Assisting Nursing Staff: Helping the nursing team with ad hoc tasks around the lab.
Client Relations: Maintaining good relations with clients to promote a positive image of Ampath.

What You’ll Need to Apply

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

Education: Grade 10 qualification.
Experience: Knowledge of cleaning processes.
Legal Requirements: You must have a South African ID or a valid South African work permit.

Key Responsibilities

As part of your role, you will:

Collect specimens and deliver reports to ensure timely service delivery to clients.
Perform basic administrative tasks within the depot to assist the nursing staff.
Maintain excellent client relations to uphold the professional image of Ampath.
