What You’ll Do

In this learnership, your duties will include:

• Operational Tasks: You’ll report for duty, sign on, and inspect locomotives to ensure everything is in top condition. You’ll also assist the train driver during shunting activities and ensure all systems are working perfectly before each trip.
• Emergency Support: In case of emergencies, you’ll follow safety protocols and help the train driver handle the situation quickly and safely.
• Administrative Work: You’ll be responsible for completing the train journal after each shift and handling other administrative tasks related to train operations.
