Job Details

  • Work Hours: 9 hours per shift

Job Description

As a Merchandiser, your main role is to ensure that store shelves are well-stocked with the right products, attractively displayed, and priced correctly to boost sales. You’ll be working across multiple stores within a specific area, making each store’s layout appealing to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stock Management: Count, document, and unpack stock received.
  • Display Organization: Arrange and display products attractively to encourage sales.
  • Stock Monitoring: Keep accurate records and ensure stock levels are sufficient.
  • Display Updates: Update product displays to reflect promotions and seasonal trends.
  • Quality Control: Check product quality and report any damages.
  • Store Layout: Use creativity to enhance displays with colors, lights, and props.
  • Customer Interaction: Assist customers with product information and handle queries or complaints.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Matric Certificate (National Senior Certificate)
  • Experience: Previous experience in Merchandising, Sales, or Customer Service is a plus.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Location: Reside within 15km of the job location.
  • Clear Criminal Record
  • Smartphone Ownership: Must have a smartphone with at least 10GB of storage.
  • Vodacom Sim Card Requirement: Successful candidates must have a Vodacom number.
