What Is This Job About?

As an Armed Response Officer, your role will be based at a client site in Woodmead, Midrand. You’ll be part of a trusted protection team responsible for keeping the premises safe at all times. This isn’t a basic guard job – it’s a serious position where your experience and alertness will play a major role in ensuring people are protected, threats are handled, and emergencies are prevented.

Minimum Requirements to Apply

You must meet these basic requirements to be considered:

• Matric (Grade 12) certificate
• Registered with PSIRA – Minimum Grade D is required
• Valid Firearm Competency for Business Purposes
• 5 years of armed response experience
• Own reliable transport and a driver’s license
• SAPs Competency Certificate
• PTFC Statement of Results

Important Details About the Job

This is a full-time position and includes night shift work. You’ll be expected to stay alert for 12-hour shifts, ensuring nothing slips past your watch.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Sunday
• Day Shift: 05:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Being available and flexible with your time is a key part of the job.
