Aspen Pharma Group Invites Qualified Applicants to Apply for Their Packaging and Labelling Associate Vacancy. The Closing Date for Applications is 30 August 2025.

Looking to grow your career in the pharmaceutical industry? Want to work for a global company that’s making a real difference in over 150 countries? This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

Aspen Pharmacare, a world-leading pharma group with a strong global presence, is looking for a Packaging and Labelling Associate (internal title: AMT Associate) to join their fast-paced, international team. This full-time position offers the chance to be part of a company that has already delivered over 700 million packs of medicine worldwide—from right here in Mauritius.

If you’ve got a passion for project coordination, packaging, and compliance, and want to work with diverse teams across 60 global subsidiaries, this role could be a perfect fit.

What You’ll Be Doing in This Role

As the Packaging and Labelling Associate, your main job is to manage, coordinate, and track the creation or changes of artwork and packaging components for Aspen’s pharmaceutical products. You’ll ensure everything follows strict regulatory rules while keeping production flowing smoothly.

Here’s a closer look at your key responsibilities:

1. Artwork and Packaging Process

  • Work closely with internal teams (like manufacturing and regulatory) to update or create packaging artwork.
  • Track and follow up on artwork changes to ensure they’re done on time and meet company standards.
  • Make sure artwork is released correctly, the first time.
  • Help onboard new manufacturing sites and affiliates when Aspen enters new markets or takes over new deals.
  • Identify any risks that could delay packaging and take steps to prevent them.

2. Cost Control

  • Monitor and minimize the costs of packaging delays and mistakes.
  • Review artwork-related quotes and invoices, making sure they’re accurate.
  • Report and flag any financial risks tied to artwork issues.

3. Improve How Things Are Done

  • Look for ways to make processes better and faster.
  • Don’t be afraid to question the old ways—innovation is welcome here.

4. Customer Relationships

  • Build strong connections with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support issue resolution and share knowledge to make the team stronger.

What You Need to Apply

If you’ve got a mix of creativity, organizational skills, and a sharp eye for detail, then you might be just who Aspen is looking for.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 3 years of office experience OR 2 years in the pharmaceutical or packaging industry
  • Strong project management or coordination skills
  • Advanced Excel and computer skills are a must
  • Knowledge of SharePoint
  • Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, and InDesign experience
  • Good understanding of supply chain and logistics is a big plus
  • Experience using Power BI or other reporting tools is beneficial
  • Familiarity with workflow systems like Esko is an added bonus

Why Join Aspen Global Incorporated (AGI)?

Aspen isn’t just a workplace—it’s a launchpad for global careers. Since opening in Mauritius in 2008, AGI has grown into one of the island’s biggest employers, contributing to over 40 billion MUR in turnover.

Here’s what you’ll enjoy:

  • Work with a team of 200+ professionals from over 20 different nationalities.
  • Be part of a business that’s actively improving patient lives worldwide.
  • Learn and grow through constant mentorship and support.
  • Thrive in a company that values well-being, personal development, and innovation.
  • Get exposure to cutting-edge pharmaceutical projects and global operations.
  • Be part of a culture where fun, courage, and intrapreneurship are encouraged.

This role offers a mix of structure and flexibility, and if you’re the kind of person who enjoys solving problems, managing projects, and making sure every detail is right, you’ll fit right in.

Ready to Step into a Global Role?

If you’re detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to play a key part in bringing life-saving medicines to patients across the world—this is your chance.

Apply before 30 August 2025 to join a global team that’s making a real difference every day.
