What Is This Learnership All About?

The Engineering Learnership at Impala Platinum is designed to help learners get both theory and practical training in the engineering field. You’ll be working directly with experienced artisans and foremen, learning how to repair, build, and maintain important mining equipment. Who Can Apply?

To apply, you must meet these minimum requirements:

• You need an N2 qualification with four subjects, or NCV Level 4 with at least seven subjects and Maths passed above 40%.
• You must have already completed a serviceman training programme.
• If you’re already working in engineering, you will be given preference.

But that’s not all. Before being accepted, candidates will need to:

• Go through an assessment and be selected for a formal interview.
• Get a medical fitness certificate (Red Ticket).
• Complete the RFA and Heat Tolerance Screening (HTS).
