Your Main Responsibilities

Every day at the container yard is different, but your key duties will include:

Cleaning the yard, washbay, and office area using a ride-on sweeper

Completing the daily maintenance checklist
Making sure the sweeper machine is clean and working properly
Helping with general yard operations as needed
Following health and safety rules to avoid accidents
Reporting anything unusual or unsafe to your supervisor
Doing occasional tasks that involve operating machinery or equipment (less than 5 times per year)
Supporting the warehouse and container teams to keep the space clean and organized

Who Can Apply?

Have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Have at least 2 years’ experience working as a General Worker
Have experience in a warehouse or container yard
Be safety-conscious and have the right safety certificates and training

Be physically fit and able to bend, kneel, and lift items when needed
Understand and speak basic English
