For 2025, BMW South Africa is offering two main apprenticeship options:

Minimum Requirements to Apply

For BMW Transportation Electrician Apprenticeship (Job ID: 144735):

  • Matric with at least 50% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Science, OR
  • NQF 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with 50% in Mathematics and Engineering Science
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Having N2 Engineering Studies with trade theory will be a big advantage
  • A complete application must be submitted

For BMW Mechatronics Technician Apprenticeship (Job ID: 144736):

  • Matric with at least 50% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) and Physical Science, OR
  • NQF 4/N3 in Engineering Studies with 50% in Mathematics and Engineering Science
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Nated Engineering Studies with trade theory is an added advantage
  • Complete applications only will be considered

As an apprentice at BMW, you will:
